Four Funding Opportunities for Residents in Helsingborg

One of the best things about living in Helsingborg is the number of ways you can get involved in city and public life as a resident, and get support for it. Have an idea that you'd like to try? Want to collaborate with new people and implement a project for the city? Here are a few options to get your idea started and funded:

Do you have a dream project idea for Helsingborg that you want to test but need some support? Are you 18 years and older? With Visionsfonden you can apply for up to SEK 100,000 and get free coaching.

The Vision fund encourages projects which may have a potential societal benefit for the city of Helsingborg and targets needs that exist in the city. You can apply as an individual, organization, company or association. Your project must be aligned with the Helsingborg Vision 2035. Read about it here.

You do not need to be a resident of Helsingborg, but the project must take place in Helsingborg.

Deadlines for 2021: August 15, October 31

Watch this video interview with Alexandra Hvalgren, Idea Coach at Visionsfonden where she answers questions like what is the vision fund, tips and tricks for the application and much more.

Do you run an association or a foundation and have an innovative idea for the city? Do you see new opportunities through collaborations? You can then apply for money from the Föreningsfond (Association Fund) and also be a part of the city's development and the H22 city fair.

As part of this fund, SEK 1 million has been set aside from H22's budget to allow associations and foundations in Helsingborg to work with challenges to develop the association life of the future.

There are no deadlines for applying to the Föreningsfonden. The applications are processed on an ongoing basis. The projects will be carried out in connection with H22 City Expo 30 May-3 July 2022 and finalized no later than 30 September 2022.

Associations applying for projects must operate in Helsingborg. However, it is possible to collaborate with associations outside Helsingborg.

Do you have an idea for a project that can benefit Helsingborg's local business community during a crisis period like the COVID-19 pandemic?

This fund is for you if your project idea relates to the situation around COVID-19, is carried out in Helsingborg (or for the people of Helsingborg), can be spread, and benefits several actors such as companies, organizations, associations or residents. You can apply for this fund as an individual, organization, company or association.

There are no deadlines for applying to this fund. Applications are ongoing. You can also see a list of all the previously approved projects on the website.

You do not need to be registered in Helsingborg to apply for this fund, but the project must be carried out in Helsingborg and must benefit its local business community.

The cities of Helsingborg and Helsingör are collaborating on an exciting project and are looking for creative folks - entrepreneurs, artists, designers, creators, programmers and more who want to work with IoT (Interntet of Things) and art in a public place, but indoors. They are interested in projects that show new ways of working with technology and culture together with cities. The final result will be shown in both cities and therefore the idea must be mobile and should fit into a public environment. The budget for the project is 100,000 DKK per project. There will be a total of two approved projects - One in Sweden and the other in Denmark.

Applicants can apply as an individual or as a group. The installations will be exhibited in an indoor location in a public space in both cities. The installation can be at a maximum measure of 2 m X 2 m x 2 m.

Application deadline is May 12, 2021
